‘Werewolf’ Is Left On The Streets For Months Until A Stranger Approaches To Help, To Find The Harsh Reality

This werewolf looking animal was bony with patches of fur which was missing across its body, but there was this fur only around its neck and chest and it hunched and limped when it walked. It was so skinny and scaly that people were frightened to even get close to it. But this brave woman who happened to pass by the California orchard noticed this animal and posted on Facebook, attaching it with a plea on Facebook, asking someone to come help her figure out if the animal needed help.

An animal lover, Megan Bowe responded and showed up immediately. "I was about ready to cry when I saw how bad off he was. He was really on his last leg. He was depressed and could barely even stand up." It was a German Shepard who was in a critical stage and Megan started calling him King. She took him to the vet and they found out that it had a broken pelvis, a severely broken tail, and scabies.

It was a 12-month-old pup. Megan said, "My vet thinks he got hit by a car, and that would explain how his tail was so messed up, too. That injury happened months ago because by the time I got him it had already started to heal incorrectly. And with such a damaged pelvis, he wasn't able to get around very far on his own to look for food so he was extremely skinny and dehydrated."

She added, "He's a super loving dog. If I sit down, he has his face right next to mine and leans in as if he's giving me a hug. He has been so calm and relaxed through everything. While King isn't out of the woods just yet, he is already doing so much better and already looks entirely different from the 'scary' creature people thought he was."

People often think that animals don’t deserve as much love and affection as humans, and leaving King the way he was found made King really depressed and weak. It took only one person to save a life. Megan states, ”He is happier than ever now. It's hard to think that all those cars passed him by and never stopped. No one wanted to bring him home or help him because he looked so bad ... But all it took was one person."
